  1. Address a pain point - This makes subscribers feel something. Get clear on who you’re talking to and why so you can do this quickly and succinctly 
  2. Show the transformation - let them know how you can change their life with your product or service. Tell a client story or tell your own story of how what you did or created made a difference
  3. Show your authority: Let your audience know exactly why you're they should believe anything you say. Testimonials work best!
  4. Call to action - most important , tell the people what to do and provide a link for them to do it after you’ve laid the groundwork of trust and connection
  5. Captivating subject line - 2nd most important. Try writing your subject line last to get a good sense of what will capture your subscribers attention


Bonus: Personalization- address them by name or mention a specific characteristic about them or call out their specific pain point, tagging and segmenting very important
